New Gallifrey!

I listened to the new Gallifrey series! I usually don't post reactions, because... idk, when the last Gallifrey series came out I listened to it on an over-night bus ride across Europe and I'm still not sure how much of that series I hallucinated. But this time I have a couple thoughts!
BASICALLY, I thought it was fun, though kind of weird - I am 100% in favor of political conspiracies and diplomacy, that's why I listen to Gallifrey, but I wasn't sure about the tension of Romana and Narvin taking over a Gallifrey which clearly doesn't belong to them. I know they were playing up the fact that they were about to get found out, but they really really should have been found out immediately. They don't know shit about this Gallifrey, come on, and they're clearly not the same people as their mirror!verse selves (because this is clearly the mirror!verse Gallifrey. Unless Disassembled was mirror!verse - no, I take it back, Disassembled was the mirror!verse.
These parentheses are getting away from me, but HOW GREAT WOULD IT BE if Disassembled!verse took over a corner of Gallifrey fandom in the same way mirror!verse has a corner of Trek fandom; i.e., a corner with lots of D/s pwps and gratuitousness. Honestly it would not help me any because I think I've seen three mirror!verse AUs that I could actually read (if there's not a dub-con or non-con warning on those things it's usually a mistake), but I would look fondly on that corner of fandom and think happy thoughts about Interrogator General Leela/ABSOLUTELY ANYONE.)
Where was I? Agh, oh, basically Romana and Narvin not getting found out was stretching my disbelief pretty far. That is all. Also I wish the Outsiders had gotten more agency and spent less time listening to Leela, because I love Leela but she had some bad ideas this time around.
Overall, though, some great character moments (Narvin acquired a spy and then used her to look after Leela, ADORABLE). I had fun listening to them, and that is all I ask. ALSO, probably the only time I have actually been surprised by Daleks and am actually looking forward to finding out what's going on with them. A miracle!
This also felt very much like a half-series, although I realize it's only one less than series 4. Looking forward to series 6, and SO GLAD that it has a release month already.
