I have been home for a ten days, and in that time I have been sick twice. Cold at the beginning of break, and I'm running a mild fever now. Bluh. I have also finished two term papers, done a bunch of RA work, written 11 yuletide fics, and done the whole Christmas thing. Woooo. (It actually has been pretty great.)

And I got an awesome fic for Yuletide! One Night in a Castle is Lion in Winter RPF where the cast hangs out in a drafty castle and make fun of it/each other. It's great, and exactly what I wanted. Check it out.

Maybe I will be well enough tomorrow to actually read other yuletide fics, we will see.

also - this is a good time to tell you: thank you very much for my beard fic :D nobody else thinks the master's beard is as funny as doctor who fans, but particularly me. the best bit is the guards agreeing that the war chief's facial hair is weird, and the doctor's outrage that gallifrey should be blamed for it - but i also enjoyed all of it <3 thank you very much. alas - that i cannot actually use it for my idfic bingo, since i did not write it - though i am doing pretty well with the bingo. even if... it is not summer any more.

Yeah, I've done 11 Yuletide fics for the last four years. It started as a challenge to get myself out of my Doctor Who box, and now that I'm not in Who so much it is just a tradition. I got crunched for time this year so I wrote the 10 extra fics in 2 days, but usually I spread them out a bit more. I have 3 fics in the main collection and 8 in madness if you can spot them ;)

And I'm really glad you liked the beard fic! I probably should have put 'rubbish facial hair' on my own bingo, because I had way too much fun writing that. I'm planning to post an update on my idfic bingo after Yuletide reveals, because I make my own rules and am ignoring the whole 'summer' thing, haha.
