Thank you! Antonin is a bit of a jerk, but I am predisposed to like him because he is played by C'rizz. (I realize I am like one of five people who liked C'rizz, so it goes.) And Reborn!Romana is totally rad. I'm not entirely sure how feelings ensued, they just kind of happened.
Benton and Yates were going to be two random soldier dudes, but then I realized that they might as well be characters I like :)
