Life: interviewment

Just had a phone interview with a professor from a psychology program I applied to. She would be my supervisor/advisor if I'm accepted, so... that was a thing? I don't know, I think it went well, but I'm still shaky and unhappy from the process of talking to a new person on the phone. At least I'm hearing back from people - hopefully I will soon have more interviews and phone calls to make myself miserable over. Fingers crossed!

Congratulations on getting and getting though the interview. Phone calls are so difficult for that kind of thing -- you miss so many non-verbal cues that it's nervewracking.

Yes, exactly! I really rely on non-verbal cues while interacting with people, and having a conversation without them is super stressful unless I know the other person really well.
