Awww, this was lovely. There is always a need for more Shalka!fic on the internets. Especially of the D/M variety.
This is so well written, in character, and adorable. I got so engrossed I didn't realise I had reached the end when I did, and then I was dissapoint.
"Well, it wouldn't really be me, would it," said the Master, with a humorless smile. "If I wasn't willing to go to simply ridiculous lengths, just because I care about you."
I love this line. Truer words have never been written. The final line is simply wonderful too! ^_^
Also, this line made me smirk: There's the bathroom, there's the homicidal maniac, don't touch that button, it might give you hives. I love the idea of the Doctor giving a new companion a tour like that.
The plot and relationships between the characters was also brilliant. I'm so glad the Doctor and Master managed to *ahem* make up at the end.
