neveralarchI meant to post about these last week, but I am still bad at actually posting.
Operator, Operator got recced last week, and aralias did a podfic of it as part of her cool calufrax podficcing thing. The link to the tindeck recording is a bit further down in that link, amongst some other really good podfics. I listened to A Family Affair this weekend, and it was great.
Also, cryforwhat_fic translated Operator, Operator into Chinese. I can't actually read Chinese, but it looks well done from what I can tell with my limited online translating tools. The translation also has a ton of hyperlink references in it, which is awesome. It explains all the ridiculously obscure jokes, like the Gladstone thing and the deal about Castellan Spandrell and his Czech accent.
Also, someone over at the Chinese translation left a comment about the gratuitous motorcycle fantasy in Operator, Operator, which is a section I've always been a little unsure/ridic embarrassed about. Via bad google translation:
There is indeed a very good motorcycle sex, but in reality is difficult to learn (or not to try the western United States the kind of bull riding game consoles)
I am much more embarrassed about that section now.
So last week was a good week! Now I just need to remember to get these links onto my various archive sites.
