I'm going to be honest, I still have no idea who that is, and IMDB tells me the only thing I've ever seen with him in it is Muppets in Space. But definitely let me know if Erin finds By the Sword - my reluctance to watch bad movies is easily overcome by how camp this thing sounds.
I totally forgot that Roberts!Master was a fencer in your AU, and then got distracted while I reread Meanwhile, in Another Universe. (Is there more of that coming soon? I ask because I really like it.) I really love that fencing is the sport for D/M, by the way, the ratio of fencing to fic in this fandom is so much higher than anything except Highlander, I think.
Re: canon issues, I think I'm actually really judgey of people for screwing major things up, especially when it's something you could fix with research. But I also spend a lot of time double-checking things on TARDIS wiki and then still get stuff wrong, so. I guess my ideals are higher than my actual execution. Also, Vansell? I only know half of the Deca members, but seriously?
I was going to say something like "but I am supposed to be doing homework and applying to grad school, and this idea is at least 20,000 words worth of fic, no way is it actually happening," but then I started writing dialogue down anyway. Oh well.
