Idfic summer update
7/8/13 05:07 pmThe summer is winding down and I've managed to write five fics, so I figured it was time for an idfic update. Let's see how I've progressed on my bingo card, using this hastily edited screenshot!

The fics are:
Change of Engagement (By the Sword, fulfilled roadtrip and fencing AU)
Crocodile Clips (Doctor Who, b_e fill and robots/cybernetics)
Sword Swallower (Teen Wolf, awkward/bad sex and arguing during sex)
'The Effects of Cervical Restraint on the Appearance of my Boyfriend.' Working Paper. (Welcome to Night Vale, collars, trainee/inexperienced dom, and extremely explicit consent)
Ain't Filled with Gentle Things (Welcome to Night Vale, fistfights and anger management)
So, that's three almost bingos, and a little less than half of the card covered. Not bad. I have fics planned for most of the remaining squares, so we'll see how far I get on them. I had hopes for a while that I might actually do the first five in all different fandoms, but then I stalled on the Matthew Swift fic I was writing and Night Vale ate my brain. Maybe literally.
WIP check: right now I have two Matthew Swift fics, two Avengers/Marvel fics, a Star Trek fic, and like a billion Night Vale fics in various stages of completion/idle daydreaming. Hopefully I can write more over the next four or so weeks, though I'll be packing and driving a thousand miles and working during that time. I can't really dash this stuff off, haha. I keep thinking 'I'll just write a quick pwp' and then it's 5,000 words and three days later, and no one has gotten laid.
I'm feeling pretty accomplished, though! Coming into this project my main worry was that I would end up writing unreadable stuff or I would get bored of my own id. But I am seriously enjoying the fics I've already written, and people have been very nice about them. Success all round!
