spoke too soon

Immediately after fixing the hinges on my laptop, the harddrive crashed. (More specifically, the part of the memory partition that contains the drivers has become inaccessible.) Have now realized the futility of human endeavor. Also I have finally been prodded into actually ordering a new laptop and spending all this money, so I guess that's something. So I dunno when I'll be around more - I guess we'll find out!

True! And now that I have the shiny new laptop and am able to do things again, I can recognize that this is probably for the best :)
