Year in review post coming presently, but here is a beta search! I feel like about half of my journal consists of beta searches. I used to ask for betas on lj comms, but as I move into new fandoms I'm less certain about where the activity centers are and tumblr doesn't work the same way. Also I don't trust strangers.

ANYWAY, looking for a James Bond/Skyfall beta. I have written an Elizabethan Skyfall AU, which I have managed to keep down to 11,000 words by dint of great effort. Rated teen for violence and death, minor Bond/Silva. Knowledge of the 16th century def not required - one of the reasons why I suspect this needs betaed is whether it's understandable to anyone not literally immersed in the renaissance. I would really appreciate it if anyone has time! No deadline, though I'd like to get this finished before I drive back to school on the 18th. Thanks :)

I could offer to beta, though I'm not sure how good of a one I would be for these characters in particular. (I'm not the most expert on them, though I did see the movie.) Also I'm not entirely sure how much time I have: I still have a syllabus to write and I'm not sure when it's due next week...

However, if all else fails, I do offer myself as a generic sort of beta with dubious timeliness. :-)
