Oh, hm. You know, the pencil sketch has more action/spontaneity in it, I think, but I have noticed myself that this is sometimes an unfortunate side-effect of inking a piece. It's very subtle, though. I love seeing the process as a piece unfolds; your study sketches are equally as expressive as the finished piece. :)
